We provide administrative support services, case organization assistance, procedural guidance, and family support resources for individuals involved in the federal criminal justice system. The Administrative Remedy Program is the Bureau of Prisons grievance process that allows inmates to formally address
problems, concerns, or disputes while incarcerated.
This process is used to file complaints or challenge issues within the BOP, including:
✔ Disciplinary actions
✔ Sentence calculation concerns
✔ Property issues
✔ Medical concerns
✔ Program eligibility disputes
✔ Staff-related concerns
✔ Conditions of confinement
✔ Other institutional issues
The process usually begins with a BP-8 informal resolution attempt. If the issue is not resolved, inmates may continue
through additional levels, including a BP-9, BP-10, and BP-11 appeal.
Understanding deadlines, paperwork requirements, and the proper filing process can often feel confusing, especially for
inmates and families unfamiliar with the BOP system.
The First Step Act allows many eligible federal inmates to earn time credits by successfully participating in approved
programs, classes, work assignments, and productive activities while incarcerated.
These earned time credits may help increase eligibility for placement in a halfway house, home confinement, or other
release opportunities depending on the individual situation and Bureau of Prisons eligibility requirements.
We assist with services including:
✔ First Step Act / Earned Time Credit Assistance
✔ Compassionate Release Assistance
✔ Administrative Remedy Assistance
✔ 28 U.S.C. § 2255 Assistance
